MTS at NCA
MTS (Ministry Training Strategy) is 2 year apprenticeship where participants work full-time in a ministry environment under the training of an experienced ministry worker.
NCA Church is committed to training up gospel workers, and so for the past few years has had MTS apprentices on board. For 2025-2026 our church MTS apprentice is Matthew Holt.
How you can support MTS at NCA…
1. Prayer
One of the most important ways to support Matt is to pray for him. Matt will be sending out regular updates and prayer points.
We’d love for you to receive these updates and to pray for them faithfully. Please sign up below!
2. Finances
Matt is doing a ‘Scholarship’ MTS. This means that all financial support is given to MTS directly (rather than NCA). MTS will then make scholarship payments to them throughout the two year apprenticeship.
The annual cost of the scholarship is $40,000 for Matt. These funds are used to cover three main expenses:
The costs of administration carried out by MTS
The cost of the study component of (both Timothy Partnership and Cornhill Preaching for Matt)
The monthly scholarship payments to cover Matt’s living expenses
Please note: all funds raised in support of MTS Scholarships are tax deductible (with receipts issued by MTS to individual givers).
How to Give?
All financial support given towards Matt’s apprenticeship needs to be given to MTS directly (rather than NCA Church). This is because MTS awards and pays out Matt’s scholarship.
You might be able to make a one-off financial gift. The most helpful way for people to support Matt’s apprenticeship, however, is to set up regular monthly giving. This helps MTS keep track of Matt’s support levels across the two years, and it means they can communicate with us as his training church about how his support is going.
MTS is responsible for issuing tax-deductible receipts. You will need to enter in your personal details to enable this.
